(a) There is hereby established in the State General Fund a fund to be known as the Alabama Convention Facilities Fund. (b) State assistance payments authorized by this chapter shall be made to the participating city, county or entity or authority thereof by the state Comptroller within 30 days after the Director of Finance approves said city, county, or entity or authority quarterly request.
