STORY, Circuit Justice. The Hallowell and Augusta Bank was incorporated in March, 1804, by the legislature of Massachusetts, with a capital, stock of 5200,000, divided into shares of 5100 each, for a term which expired on the first Monday of October, 1812, with the usual rights and privileges belonging to the banks in the same state.
