FLAUM, Circuit Judge. This case presents us with the combined direct appeals of Francis “Butch” Hach (“Butch”) and Carl Hach (“Carl”). The Haches, father and son respectively, were involved in cocaine use and dealing in Cooks-ville, Wisconsin, from the late 1980’s until their arrests in 1997.
