OPINION JONES, Judge. The defendant, Lucy Killebrew, was convicted of murder first degree by a jury of her peers. When the jury could not agree on an appropriate punishment, the trial judge dismissed the jury and sentenced the defendant to life imprisonment in the Department of Correction.
