Pfeifer, J. Shortly after midnight on April 30, 1996, five masked gunmen intent on robbery entered the Newport Inn, a bar in Youngstown. They shot five people, robbed the till, and left. Three of the five victims died. One of the gunmen, Willie S. “Stevie” Herring, is the appellant in this case.
