HOLOHAN, Chief Justice (dissenting): The decision of the court in this case effectively ends the use of hypnosis as a memory aid in this jurisdiction. The rule fashioned by the court is that the pretrial use of hypnotism precludes the use of the witness who was subjected to hypnotism.
