OPINION DAVIS, Chief Justice. On September 27, 1996, Eric Sowels pled guilty to robbery and was sentenced to ten years’ probation. In August of 1999, Sowels pled true to allegations in a motion to revoke his probation, and the court sentenced him to four years’ confinement and a $500 fine. Sowels then appealed.
