Scileppi, J. One summer afternoon in August, 1967 defendant, his wife and child gathered with David Richardson and his girl friend in front of a Manhattan stoop. Defendant, who had been ‘ ‘ dabbing at some beer can ’ ’ with a knife, accidentally cut Richardson when the latter’s hand got in the way.
