OPINION AL SCOGGINS, Justice. Appellant, Darrell Ferguson, was charged by indictment with continuous sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony. See Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 21.02 (b), (h) (West Supp.2013). Appellant pleaded “not guilty” to the charge, and the case proceeded to trial.
