Liacos, C.J. On March 4, 1993, a Suffolk County jury convicted the defendant, Thomas Rosa, Jr., of murder in the first degree and kidnapping. The judge sentenced Rosa to Life imprisonment, with a concurrent sentence on the kidnapping conviction of from nine to ten years.
