COFFEY, Circuit Judge. On June 3, 1995, the plaintiff-appellant, Clayton W. Clark (“Clark”), while traveling in his 1991 Honda Accord on an interstate highway in Kentucky, was struck from behind by a second party driving a pickup truck.
