Cargle was tried by a jury in the District Court of Oklahoma County, Case No. CF-93-6982, and convicted of Count I and Count II, Murder in the First Degree (21 O.S.1991, § 701.7(A); and Count III, Possession of a Firearm After Former Conviction of a Felony (21 O.S.Supp.1992, § 1283).
